The idea for rlly, started from a place of yuck.
The world was kinda messy. Many of us were feeling lonely and isolated.
Could we build something fun to bring us together?
Before we had doodles on a piece of paper
we asked a bunch of diverse & curious high school and college students to noodle with us.
Then we added a posse of academics, mental health practitioners, and experts in the “helping people feel stronger” space.
And everyone agreed:
It’s the weird, unexpected stuff that bonds us.
The stuff we sometimes don’t even know about ourselves. Those, “Wait. You too?!” moments that make us laugh, cry, and feel.
We think of rlly as a “positivity engine”
It's an everyday habit at 4:11pm EST.
A daily giggle.
A way to learn about yourself and others.
A place to be seen for who you are (not how popular you are).
An icebreaker to strengthen your friendships.
